摘 要

《了不起的麦瑟尔夫人》是2018年艾美奖的最大赢家，横扫5大奖项。该剧讲述的故事是在20世纪50年代，对人生拥有完美规划的麦瑟尔夫人，她突然被丈夫出轨、抛弃，在人生崩塌后，索性捡起和丈夫的共同爱好，开始努力成为一名单口相声演员的故事。20世纪50年代，经历过第二次世界大战，美国经济、社会生活的各个层面都发生了变化。对于妇女而言意义则更为深远，使美国妇女女性意识加强。自我能力、自我价值判断的提高以及斗争自觉性的加强都为战后美国女权运动的重新高涨奠定了基础。本文旨在从女性主义的角度，通过分析剧中主人公麦瑟尔夫人的服饰特点、生活和感情经历，探究《了不起的麦瑟尔夫人》中麦瑟尔夫人这一角色，以期洞察美国20世纪50年代的女性生活。

An Analysis of Mrs. Maisel in The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel: a Feminist Perspective

1. Introduction

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel won the best comedy actress, best supporting actress, best director and best comedy screenwriter at the 70th Emmy Awards, the best music or comedy series at the 75th Golden Globe Awards, the best comedy director at the 70^th American Directors Guild Awards, the best comedy producer at the 29th American Directors Guild Awards, the best drama series and the best comedy stress at the 8th American Critics’ Choice Awards. The story took place in America in the 1950s. Maisel and her husband Joel Maisel had been married for many years. Rich second generation Joel Maisel had always wanted to be a talk show actor. Every weekend, he would go to the club for stage performance. However, Joel Maisel's talk show career was always tepid. One day, after another performance failure, Joel Maisel broke down. He confessed to Maisel that he had an affair, and immediately packed up and left home. Overnight, Maisel became an abandoned woman by her husband. In sadness and despair, Maisel got drunk, boarded the stage, and made a wonderful speech. The audience’s laughter couldn’t stop. Club waitress Susie found Maisel's talent and decided to be her agent. Since then, Maisel began her new independent life, working in the mall during the day and having a talk show at night. Although she has a bumpy life but eventually she got success and had wealth.
