俚语是指人们在日常生活中频繁使用的生活语言。不同的地区也有不同的观点。俚语的主要功能是使人们的日常交流更加方便，恰当地反映人们的心理状态。俚语的正确使用可以使人们的日常交际语言更加生动有趣。同样的官方语言会使人们的日常交流变得非常枯燥，无法实现人们想要的情感表达。因此，本文将以英国戏剧《唐顿庄园》中的两种俚语为例，阐述俚语的正确使用及其背后的多重意义。
