摘 要
在全球化背景下,公示语是国际化都市、国际化旅游目的地的语言环境和人文环境的重要组成部分,已成为国外友人了解中国的窗口。公示语的翻译被看作是两种文化间的交流,公示语的任何错译、滥用和误解都会导致不良的国际影响,但在调查了解中,发现我国公示语的英译存在一些问题和不足,因此,探究公示语英译错误以及应对的翻译策略,具有一定的现实意义与深远的社会意义。本论文介绍了目的论理论以及其在公示语翻译中的作用,分析了公示语翻译的各类错误,并借助目的论的三大原则对以上错误提出相应的翻译策略。本论文旨在帮助译者提高双语公示语的翻译质量,以让国外友人能更好地了解中国。
本论文由三部分构成。第一部分简要地介绍了研究背景。第二部分作为本论文的主体部分,重点从语言和文化两方面详细分析了公示语中译英翻译中存在的错误,以目的论下的三大原则为指导,对上述错误提出相应的解决方法。第三部分概括总结。
