摘 要

电视剧《摩登家庭》是一部非常著名的情景喜剧。它由20世纪福克斯影视公司制作发行。该剧描述了美国三个不同模式家庭的日常生活。其中有一家是同性恋家庭。本文主要对上述同性恋家庭进行讨论和研究。

本文主要通过三个部分来对美国同性恋家庭的困惑加以分析。第一部分主要简介摩登家庭这部情景喜剧以及剧集中所描述的多元化家庭；第二部分主要通过分析剧中的台词和情节，来看待分析其中所表现或隐含的社会对同性恋者的态度，对同性恋者的家长身份的态度以及对同性恋家庭中的儿童的态度，来分析同性恋者在社会，家庭中面对的不理解和困难；第三部分主要概括美国同性恋家庭的现状，通过展示同性恋者在面对各种社会或家庭问题的同时仍然积极地面对人生、享受人生的精神，让大众能够正面的看待这个群体。

本论文通过分析美剧《摩登家庭》的情节，旨在展示美国同性恋家庭的危机,并试图帮助人们消除对同性恋家庭误解和歧视。

The Analysis of Dilemma of America’s Gay Family Reflected in TV Drama Modern Family

1. Introduction

Homosexual is a special kind of culture in the world. Its sexual orientation and sexual behavior are based on the fact that some people take the same-sex as the sexual objects. It is a common social phenomenon, and has a very long history. From the middle ages, homosexual has begun to be considered as guilty morally and legally. It is firmly forbidden by Christianity. The homosexual is abandoned and rejected by the mainstream society.

However, no matter how the morality condemnation, laws and medical treatment are imposed to act against it, homosexual never disappears. Because of its specificity and minority position, homosexual is always the research object of Physiology, Psychology, Psychiatry, Ethics, Sociology and even Law. Nowadays, with deeper knowledge of it, people in the world turn to be much friendlier to homosexuals. Taking an example of the TV show Modern Family, homosexual has been legalized and more acceptable in the US. The homosexual family has become one of the family models in the society.

• 1. A brief introduction of Modern Family

Modern family is an American TV sitcom created by Christopher Lloyd and Steven Levitan, which debuted on ABC on Sep. 23, 2009. This play mainly describes the daily life of 3 different families. It uses humorous ways to show the tendency of pluralistic family in the society of the US nowadays. Until the very recent, Modern family has been produced and broadcast for 6 seasons. It has been awarded the best honor of Emmy Awards in TV show fields. It is very famous and widespread in China, and even in the world.
