摘 要

作为科幻幽默小说的开山之作，道格拉斯·亚当斯所著的《银河系漫游指南》魅力经久不衰，改编众多，其中经典人物、台词被一代又一代读者津津乐道。随着刘慈欣所著的《三体》斩获多项国际大奖，不论是科幻经典还是由此改编的电影，科幻领域收获了空前的关注。但国内对科幻作品，尤其是科幻幽默作品的研究却稍显不足。详实的研究不仅能让读者更好理解文章内容，更可了解科幻幽默作品的共性。本文以银河系漫游指南为例，多角度分析其幽默产生的原因。本文分为五个部分：第一部分介绍作品和作者的基本情况，总结故事内容；第二部分从科幻小说的特点入手，分析科幻作品的一般特点；第三部分从与幽默相关的人物塑造、故事内容、情节设置与修辞手法方面，分析作品如何体现其幽默特点； 第四部分，从对比不同翻译版本分析作品的实际应用意义。最后进行总结。结合这四个方面，更好地体会个中妙处，并在阅读相关作品时更游刃有余。

Abstract

As the first and foremost comedy-combined science fiction, The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy written by Douglas Adams has won its world reputation among the readers from generation after generation. With the lines being quoted, characters impersonated, various kinds of adaption presented, its popularity never fades even for a single day. Recently, as Chinese science fiction The Three Body Problem written by Liu Cixi won a series of international awards, the unprecedented attention is now

focused on the science fiction realm. No matter for classic novels or fiction-adopted films, people in rising numbers start to turn their interest into Sci-fi world. However, the research related to science fiction, especially comedy-combined science fiction is relatively scarce and limited. An exhaustive study of such literary works can not only help readers understand the content better, but also help them gain a common understanding of the general methods used in comedy science fictions. The paper takes Douglas Adames’ masterpiece as a template, analyses the humor presented in the book from four main different aspects in order to explore how its humorous effects are created. The first chapter is a general introduction about the book, its writer and the summery of the story. The second chapter includes the general introduction of the history and status quo of the development of science fiction, and its general features. In the third chapter, the paper analyses the the humor related with characterization, plot, setting and linguistic devices which cause humorous effects. The fourth chapter presents the study of the practical applications of the features mentioned above by comparing its two different Chinese translations. It is expected that the exploration of key elements that contribute to the success of comedy science fiction can provide a better appreciation of other similar humorous science fictions.
