摘 要

《京华烟云》是林语堂旅居巴黎时创作的长篇小说。小说的主线是女主姚木兰的感情故事，以及在这段感情故事背后北平曾、姚、牛三大家族30多年间的悲欢离合。女主姚木兰具有独立自强的精神。《傲慢与偏见》是19世纪英国小说家简·奥斯汀最著名的小说。小说女主伊丽莎白自尊心强，在爱情问题上有独立的主见。虽然两位女性都追求女性的独立和平等，但在面对婚姻和爱情的抉择时，姚木兰挣脱不掉所谓的封建枷锁，放弃了爱情而选择了妥协。而伊丽莎白坚持“思想上的共鸣”，按照自己的意愿寻找幸福的婚姻，在小说结尾和达西步入幸福婚姻殿堂。作为极具代表性的两个文学作品的主角，姚木兰和伊丽莎白有着相似之处，但她们的结局却是截然不同，其相似性和差异性值得研究。本文将对两个女主进行分析比较，探讨两部作品中女性的相同与不同之处。本文主要分为四个部分，第一部分简要介绍两部作品的作者及作品；第二部分通过分析两位女主的形象，从而比较两位女主在性格和婚姻观上的相似性和差异性。第三部分探讨造成二人相似性和差异性的原因，包括个人家庭原因和社会原因。最后一部分总结综述本文主要内容，得出以下结论：虽然二者有相似性，但由于所处社会背景和社会价值观等决定性因素的不同，因而二者的差异性大于相似性。

Abstract

Moment in Peking, written by the contemporary Chinese writer Lin Yutang when he stayed in Paris. The main line is the heroine Yao Mulan’s love story and the vicissitudes of life among three families Zeng, Yao and Niu more than 30 years. The heroine Yao Mulan is an independent and courageous woman. Pride and Prejudice written in the nineteenth century, makes Jane Austen’s reputation as the most famous female writer. The heroine Elizabeth has a great sense of self-esteem and is assertive on marriage. They both pursue equality and independence. But when there are conflicts between marriage and love, Yao Mulan can not get rid of the feudal shackles, thus she makes a compromise and gives up her love. Elizabeth adheres to the ideological resonance and pursuits of happiness according to her wish. At the end of this novel, Elizabeth and Darcy had an ideal marriage. As two representative literary leading ladies, they have similarities while their endings are totally different. So it is worth making a comparison. This paper makes a comparative analysis between the two heroines and discusses the reasons for their similarities and differences. This paper is divided into four parts. The first part is the brief introduction to the main content of two works and their authors. The second part is the analysis of two heroines’ image as well as the similarities and differences of their characters and marriage view. The third part explores the reasons leading to their similarities and differences, including personal factors and social factors. The last part is the conclusion that differences outweigh similarities due to the determinant social cultures and values.
